World Pharmacists Day - September 25 honors the important role of pharmacists in keeping communities healthy. They ensure safe medicines, give guidance on drug use, and support patients every day.

For students, this day is a chance to learn how science meets service. It’s also a moment to understand the link between good health, medicine access, and environmental safety, especially around biomedical waste and expired drugs.

GoSharpener Activity
GoSharpener students used this day to promote “Safe Medicine Habits.” They learned how to read medicine labels, understand dosages, and identify harmful habits like self-medication.

Activities included role-play as pharmacists, awareness posters on antibiotic resistance, and safe disposal drives of expired medicines (with adult supervision). All these actions were uploaded to their GoSharpener Impact Profiles as part of their SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being efforts.

Why GoSharpener Is Different
At GoSharpener, awareness days are hands-on and deeply engaging. Students go beyond facts and use their Sustainability Scores to turn learning into lifestyle changes.

GoSharpener is building India’s Most Trusted Gen Z Sustainability Scoring System. Just like an academic score reflects marks in subjects and a credit score reflects financial health, the SustainabilityScore reflects eco-conscious behavior.
